Summary

Computational linguistics is an interdisciplinary field concerned with the statistical and logical modeling of natural language from a computational perspective. It draws from researchers in the fields of linguistics, computer science especially artificial intelligence, logic, and cognitive psychology. Computational linguists are focused on providing computational models (such as knowledged-based or data-driven models) of various kinds of linguistic phenomena.
